| | Oh golly me it certainly has been a long time since I've updated. A lot has happened since then...well not really. School has certainly taken on a definite air of pointlessness that is a trifle bit annoying. Every morning I wake up a little bit later, hoping that one of these days school will be over. I've been thinking a lot about college and I'm excited for it. I'm not excited to leave friends behind though. But as Edna St. Vincent Millay wrote: My heart is warm with the friends I make And better friends I'll not be knowing But there isn't a train I wouldn't take No matter where it's going. That was my sister's senior quote. Pretty impressive choice there Kate the Great. To show you how long ago that was the only reason she picked that poem was because I had to memorize it for Mr. Hadinger's fifth grade class. Fifth grade doesn't seem like seven years ago. That's how we'll feel in four years when we're getting ready to graduate from college...I hope.
"Maybe there's a God above, And all I ever learned from love, Was how to shoot at someone who outdrew you, It's not a cry you can hear at night, It's not somebody's who's seen the light It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah." ~ Rufus Wainwright
